It's Me, your favorite Awkward American Author

Greetings everyone!, 

     I hope all is well! This is your favorite Awkward American Author. I am a college student at Clayton State University. I have been writing since I was a teen. Writing has been apart of my life for years. Finding my passion at a young age propelled me to challenge my skills and grow as a writer. In high school, I took it upon myself to focus on my writing by honing in on my skills in my English classes. Presently, I am taking digital and multi-media writing at Clayton State University. After reading the syllabus and "getting started", I completely understand how the course will work. After reading "Getting started", it furthered my seriousness of the impact of this class on my career path. Digital and Multi-media writing is so important to me due to me wanting to grow my presence on my own personal blog, Queer Writers Block. Queer Writers Block is a safe space for Queer and Black American readers to discuss and view taboo topics that are usually frowned upon socially. I want Queer Writers Block to advocate understanding and freedom of thought/ expression for those who are not able to do so on social media platforms. My end goal for this class is to specifically advance my knowledge on how to successfully communicate to an audience affectively via blogging. As I am new to it, I still have growing to do. For those who are reading, What are your end goals for this semester? Do you see yourself being a blogger or doing something else in your field? Also, what are your ways of expression through writing?
