What In the Living F*** is a BRAT SUMMER !?!

    What in the hell is BRAT Summer? I know you may be reading this and thinking either "here we go again" or "What in the living fuck is a BRAT Summer?" Well a BRAT summer is a media campaign organized by the musical Artist Charli XCX and her fandom. Charli XCX has been in the music industry since the early 2010's. In Summer of 2024, Charli released her debut album, BRAT  June 7th. Upon releasing her album, she was not aware that BRAT would have gained so much attention due to her recent understanding of being an underground artist. Throughout the summer, Charli's album gained a wide range of media access. Different social platforms and forums were consumed with bright green images and BRAT written on these bright highlight green surfaces. What I thought was funny was seeing people get upset about having the album consume their timelines. Even an interviewer asked Sexxy Red, another musical artist, about BRAT summer and she knew nothing about it. I love how dreams actually do come true and they come true out of no where. Charli XCX gives me hope in a world full of bullshit. Working these corporate jobs really gets under my skin, especially being a writer. Being an Artist is hard because its so much that goes into our craft and what we feel. So, BRAT summer to me was a revelation for me to understand that all my hard work will pay off and to continue to strive for myself. Do you know what BRAT summer is? Do you listen to club Classics?
